Evoca – Service I sgined, I forgot, I am using.
Two sections are not that cluttered in web2.0 space, or to say, they provide lot of room for improvement. One is slides and other is podcasts/a-logs. I am not very much into any one of them, but will surely get my hands dirty with them.
Now coming on the main point, Evoca, this is a service which many of you might be knowing about, and many might not. Its very much like Odeo. You sign up a free account which provides you with 60 min of recording time(which is not much). But what prompted me to return to Evoca is that they are no providing voice comments facility for blogs, which I think is very good. Its innovative indeed.
But the problem with me is that I am presently hooked to wordpress, which is not providing Evoca integration in the way they provide it to meebo, to its free users( which in this case, I am.) Its integration with blogger is very nice and that too with Typepad. But still I will start this service any how, from now on i will bring you some podcasts.
Bye the way I am very sorry for not updating this blog for such a long time.
I wont let it happen from now on.

Sure Evoca allows WordPress users to use its services. If you are talking about the Evoca Browser Mic then you are in business. Because you use wordpress.com (free service) you don’t the plugin option from Evoca. However, when you are logged in to Evoca you can go to My account > Get browser mic, and just copy/paste the HTML into your sidebar. That is the same thing as the plugin. Also, the minutes used for people to leave comments on your blog are not counted against your account so 60 minutes is actually a lot of time. Hope to see some Evoca on your site soon!
